After much hemming and hawing (spelling of that????) Steve and I decided that it's best to save not only time, but also a little $ on the invitations, and order them from a printing place online. Invitations are not the most important thing to us.
So we went over the 123Print.com and found some pretty charming designs. We chose Cheery Blossom Romance, to give our guest the hint that it will be outside, and cause it's purple :)
So we should get those by next week. And hopefully Julie will be ready to do MORE wedding stuff when she gets back from her honeymoon.
This week we are:
-tasting cupcakes with Michelle Mitchel
-signing contracts with our DJ, hotel reservations, and a new one with Suthi, our photographer
-setting up the rehearsal time and the rehearsal
-setting up a tasting with our caterer
-booking our HONEYMOON !!!
we have changed our mind again about the honeymoon. We have decided that Bali and Fiji are just to far (i looked at tickets online, and we'd be traveling for 24 hrs and changing planes at least twice. no thank you) So..... Tahiti it is! We've looked at some really cool hotels to stay at, with "over the water" bungalows! how romantic! So we just have to do some number crunching, and we are ready to book it.
it's pretty easy when I just make a list for this week. I don't feel like it's too much to do in 3 months.
Also, the PCC Flea Market is this Sunday and I will be there, early, to try to get those pretty old tea tins, a mirror to make a vanity with, little sake cups (as many as possible), and maybe even some cool old weathered wood to make little signs for the wedding :)
